In residential applications vinyl is generally supplied of a roll in sheet form. It is basically an impervious plastic with a printed surface which is water resistant and easily cleaned. It is deal for kitchen, bathrooms, hallways, entrances etc where there may be high traffic, the potential of soiling and young children. It is resilient, with an element of cushioning and is highly suitable for laying straight onto hard sub floors.
